President Jia Zhenglan Holds Talks with Chairwoman Qi Hongxiang to Advance China–UAE Industrial and Cultural Cooperation

On August 4, Mr. Jia Zhenglan, President of the Provincial Trade Promotion Association, held an official meeting with Ms. Qi Hongxiang, Chairwoman of Emirates Sangsbeel Group, to discuss opportunities for deepening cooperation between Shaanxi Province and the United Arab Emirates.
During the meeting, both sides engaged in in-depth exchanges on expanding industrial collaboration in key sectors, including petroleum machinery and agricultural products, through exhibitions, trade visits, and business matchmaking platforms. Discussions also focused on promoting synergy between cultural industries – particularly film, television, and media production, as a strategic avenue to strengthen people-to-people exchange and enhance mutual understanding between the two regions.
Ms. Qi Hongxiang shared insights into the UAE market and highlighted the role of cultural and creative industries as effective bridges for international cooperation. She emphasized the growing potential for integrating economic collaboration with cultural exchange to create sustainable and diversified partnerships between China and the UAE.
President Jia Zhenglan noted that the United Arab Emirates is an important partner in Shaanxi’s international cooperation framework. He expressed appreciation for the Emirates Sangsbeel Group’s active role in promoting China–UAE collaboration and underscored the Association’s commitment to supporting enterprises in expanding overseas cooperation channels and exploring new areas of economic and cultural engagement.
The meeting also explored future pathways to broaden Shaanxi’s economic and trade cooperation space with the UAE, combining traditional industries with emerging cultural sectors to achieve mutually beneficial development.
Mr. Liu Lirong, Secretary General of the Provincial Trade Promotion Association, along with relevant officials from the Department of Investment Promotion and the International Liaison Department, attended the meeting.
This dialogue marked another constructive step toward strengthening China–UAE cooperation and advancing diversified, high-quality international partnerships.
