Ms. Qi is of Chinese origin and moved to Dubai in 1997. She has had a unique and extraordinary life from childhood to the present, and she has written a book titled “Wisteria Blooms in Dubai” since 2011 based on her diary, which details many of her experiences, from arriving in Dubai penniless and in captivity to becoming one of Dubai’s most successful real estate developers.

Ms. Hongxiang Qi has always been dedicated to encouraging exchanges between China and the UAE, and she has made every effort to contribute positively to the two nation’s cordial relations.
