Delegation Visits Sangsbeel Group to Promote China–Arab Cultural Exchange

Recently, the “Hunan Culture in the UAE” delegation successfully carried out a cultural promotion visit in Dubai, aimed at strengthening cultural dialogue and media cooperation between China and the Arab world.

As part of the delegation’s official agenda, senior representatives from Hunan TV and Mango TV, including Mr. Liang Deping and Mr. Liu Bin, visited Sangsbeel Group, where both sides held in-depth discussions on film and television production, cultural tourism integration, media resource sharing, and joint brand development.

During the meeting, the two parties exchanged views on how film and television content can serve as a powerful bridge for cultural communication, enabling audiences to better understand the shared values, creativity, and friendship between China and the Arab region.

Strength of Hunan TV and Mango TV

Hunan TV, one of China’s most influential broadcasters, has consistently ranked among the top national television networks in viewership. Its programs enjoy widespread popularity, particularly among younger audiences. In the field of variety entertainment, Hunan TV continues to lead the industry, with flagship programs such as I Am a Singer, Happy Camp, Divas Hit the Road, and Welcome Back to Sound achieving strong and sustained public recognition.

Mango TV, the digital streaming platform affiliated with Hunan TV, has become one of China’s most prominent online media platforms. As of 2024, it has surpassed 100 million paid subscribers and reached 271 million cumulative downloads, reflecting its strong influence in the digital entertainment sector.

Exploring New Models of Cultural Cooperation

During the exchange, Sangsbeel Group and the Hunan delegation reached a preliminary consensus on using film and television productions as a key medium to tell compelling stories of China–Arab cultural exchange. Both sides expressed interest in exploring future cooperation that integrates media production with cultural tourism, brand collaboration, and cross-regional content development.

The discussions emphasized the importance of presenting authentic, creative, and forward-looking narratives that highlight friendship, mutual understanding, and shared cultural values, aiming to bring these stories to a global audience through high-quality screen productions.
