On May 25, the 14th Beijing International Urban Agriculture Science and Technology Festival commenced in Tongzhou, attracting nearly 500 attendees and engaging 500,000 online viewers. The festival showcases the latest advancements in urban agriculture, including intelligent robots, advanced seeders, ornamental melons and fruits, energy-saving irrigation systems, greenhouse cultivation, and three-dimensional farming techniques.
Notable attendees included Mrs. Hongxiang Qi, founder of Hongxiang Film & Media Production, His Excellency Ali Mohamed, Director General of the Finance Department, Fujairah – UAE, and his wife Ms. Bosseineh.
Mr. Ali expressed a strong interest in the innovative agricultural technologies on display and indicated plans to collaborate with Chinese parties. His aim is to introduce new Chinese agricultural varieties, technologies, equipment, and models to Fujairah, promoting sustainable and efficient farming practices in the region.
